Cattle South Magazine was launched in 1996 when long-time cattleman Gene Wheeler teamed up with son, Kris, to develop a management publication designed specifically for commercial cattle producers in the Southeast.
Since that time, the magazine has earned it’s place among cattlemen in the region as a trusted and go-to source for reliable and innovative management information. Each issue of the magazine features stories gathered from animal heath scientists, cooperative extension specialists; as well as research from sources such as land-grant universities and the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation.
Cattle South Magazine “covers Dixie like the dew.” Boasting a readership that exceeds 7,000, the magazine is available by subscription while also being distributed at livestock markets, feed stores, equipment dealerships, beef expositions and agricultural trade shows.
Pick up an issue of Cattle South and discover why our magazine is considered one of the most respected and visible cattle publications in the Southeastern United States.
